Bryan Leininger

Bryan is originally from Southeastern Minnesota and brings with him extensive experience in both public and private sector work. He brings a passion for green infrastructure and its ability to provide communities with safe, livable environments that help protect the need for clean air and water. He is skilled at creating functional yet aesthetically appealing designs for the built environment. His strong belief in public service has lead him to an array of volunteer, community outreach, and advocacy efforts. Bryan also currently serves as President of the Nebraska / Dakotas Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Brett Gurholt

Brett is a professional landscape architect and project manager with over 15 years of experience in site design and construction. His experience includes site analysis, master planning, downtown revitalization, urban design, historic preservation, parks and recreation design, transportation alternatives, and construction administration. Brett has worked with numerous agencies and clients throughout North Dakota on projects that often require strong communication with the public. His enthusiasm and ability to listen to project stakeholders help to uncover the needs of any project and gain support from project partners.

He enjoys the opportunity to create partnerships with project stakeholders and citizens during public outreach and participation through engaging presentations, meetings, and design workshops (charettes).

Brett holds two degrees from North Dakota State University; a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. He is licensed to practice landscape architecture in North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming.

Jake Axtman

Jake is from central North Dakota and brings project experience from five states. He values a team-driven design process and enjoys working with colleagues in the engineering, architecture, and surveying fields. He believes that the most successful designs do not come from an individual, but rather a team of project partners focused on the quality of the end product. Jake’s easy-going personality and vigorous work ethic have fostered many longstanding relationships with loyal clientele. He takes pride in working alongside clients to create environments that are reflective of the vision, character, and values of the people they represent.
